We say goodbye to August and don’t even (pun intended) get any of the popular days from last week.
Friday (9/5/14) is an Addition Day, since 9 + 5 = 14.
We say goodbye to August and don’t even (pun intended) get any of the popular days from last week.
Friday (9/5/14) is an Addition Day, since 9 + 5 = 14.
This week there are four EVEN days: 8/24/14, 8/26/14, 8/28/14, and 8/30/14. That’s all we got, but remember that four of a kind is a pretty good poker hand!
Besides the three EVEN days this week (8/18/14, 8/20/14, and 8/22/14) there are two other noteworthy dates.
8/20/14 is this month’s half-back day: Go up 12 from 8 to 20, then come halfway (6)back from 20 to 14.
And, 8/22/14 is a Minus Subtract day, since 8 – 22 = -14
Monday is a fun sequence day: 8 / 11 / 14 has equal jumps of three between month, day, and year.
Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday are all EVEN number dates: 8/10, 8/12, 8/14, and 8/16.
In some places, 8/16/14 is Jimmy Johns day – all sandwiches just a dollar over the lunch hour. Line up early and bring your buck.
The obvious cool days, once again, are all the EVEN number dates: 8/4/14, 8/6/14, and 8/8/14.
In addition (pun intended), 8 + 6 = 14 in the date 8/6/14.
There is one July cool date left this year – 7/28/14 is all multiples of 7.
Once we get into August, every other day is all multiples of two – even numbers. This week we have 8/2/14 on Saturday.
Last week there was only one cool day. Today one day is cool three times!
Tomorrow, 7/21/14 has all multiples of seven. And, it is a Minus Subtract day because 7 – 21 = -14. And finally, it is the month’s half-back day: Go up 14 from 7 to 21, and then come half-way back (7) to 14.
Tomorrow, the month, day, and year are all multiple of seven: 7/14/14
Sorry, that’s all we got this week.
The cool dates are sparse this July, but three occur this week!
Two of them happen tomorrow, 7/7/14 is both an addition (7 + 7 = 14) and multiple of 7 day.
And the third cook date is 7/11/14. Get to your local 7-11 store early and ask for a free slurpee before they run out!
The last of the June even numbered dates occurs tomorrow: 6/30/14 are all multiples of two.
The other special day this week occurs on Wednesday: 7/2/14 is a multiplicative day since 7 * 2 = 14.
And, enjoy the Fourth of July!
